Dear Friends of Gardiner Area High School Athletics,
Please join us for our 12th Annual Tiger Classic Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Natanis Golf Course. This is our biggest fundraiser and 100% of the proceeds directly support the athletes at Gardiner Area High School. Last year we had over 18 teams and raised over $16,000! However, in light of the substantial cuts to next year’s athletic budget, it’s imperative that we raise as much as possible. Our goal this year is to raise $20,000 and we hope you can help us with this by entering a team and/or becoming a sponsor of this amazing event.
This past year, due to the generosity of people like you, we were able to provide funding for:
- > Cold weather jackets for the field hockey team
- > Jugs machine for the football teams
- > Home and Away uniforms for the boys varsity basketball team
- > Assisted the girls soccer team with a coach bus for their playoff game in Presque Isle
- > Funded Indoor track fees to help offset the total cost
- > Funded cheering hotel costs for the New England Championships
- > Assisted with funding a JV softball team including coaches stipend, travel fees and umpire costs
- > Funded cold weather jackets for the JV softball team
- > Funded special gifts for State Championship teams including the Boys Basketball team
- > Funded new Boys tennis uniform tops
- > Funded Track with new practice equipment
- > Supplied middle school softball with replacement uniforms
- > Funded new Turf lights
- > Supplied the Athletic trainer with a new ice machine
